For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a love for fitness, health & wellbeing, nutrition and the human body. I discovered Amatsu with my Mum at a Wellbeing event at her school, back in 2005 where a former student, now an Amatsu Practitioner, was giving demonstrations and talks about this gem of a physical therapy.

My Mum, suffering with the pain and discomfort of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and having tried all the advice, medication and steroid injections under NHS guidance, decided to try Amatsu rather than go down the route of having an operation. After several treatments, my Mum's Carpal Tunnel Syndrome had significantly improved and we were very grateful we didn't resort to the recommended op.

During the time of my Mum's treatments, I was in a car crash where I suffered severe whiplash (fortunately nothing more serious) and started physiotherapy treatments. The physio improved some muscular tension but after weeks of treatment I still felt stiff, sore and was also experiencing dizzy spells

.I booked myself in for Amatsu to see if it could help and my goodness it did; it was like magic! I was fascinated by Amatsu and hooked from that moment on. I had to wait two years to join the next available space with the Amatsu Training School so instead of just waiting, I took a course in Anatomy & Physiology and Holistic Swedish Massage.

I have recently left my corporate career, moved to the Newbury area, and am thrilled to be able to dedicate time to Amatsu and helping more people improve their health and wellbeing.
