In December 2010 it was my misfortune to fall in the snow. Crossing the road that was like a sheet of ice, down I fell putting my hand out to save myself. Snap! I could see by the deformity that I had damaged my wrist and hand.

I had surgery and my arm was placed in a back slab. This was replaced with a plaster of paris after a week. It was in place for 5 weeks and I was never comfortable in it as both sides of my wrist were damaged, also the joint was fractured where the dislocation was. My wrist was still very deformed, movement very limited and there was no feeling from the tip of my middle and ring finger to my wrist. It was also very swollen and black and yellow from bruising. I immediately began with physiotherapy as prescribed by the surgeon. I had to take a lot of painkillers every time after a treatment. I was making no progress and started having acupuncture as well. The Doctor that I was having the acupuncture with advised that the type of physiotherapy that I was having was too severe and it should be revised. I was not able to change gear, so couldn't drive the car. I couldn't play golf which I normally did twice a week. I could not do Yoga. Housework was out with both hands but I did wonders with one! Another couple of weeks of this and I decided to give Amatsu a try. I have never looked back. My Practitioner gently relieved the pain and after a few treatments the feeling began to come back into my fingers. The impact of the fall had affected more of my body than I had realised. These areas were soon detected by my Practitioner and all my injuries eased. It did take time and quite a few treatments but I could feel the improvement from the first session that I had! I am now back at Yoga, playing golf sometimes 4 times a week and as much housework as I can fit in. I have injured my knee since but immediately had an Amatsu treatment and two days later - perfect! I have no problem in recommending people try Amatsu and have already sent my two daughters who have old injuries and both have improved. I have also sent my friend who had nerve damage post mastectomy.

Having had a longstanding pain in my lower back that no-one else seemed to have sorted out, Amatsu was my last resort. It was having a real impact on my movement and ability to sit or walk

I had weekly treatments for a while, and although it has taken some time, the problem has considerably diminished and I am now able to lead a normal life. My husband, a great sceptic, has also been helped by Amatsu when he had problems with his hip. My Amatsu practitioner has a very professional manner, and an invaluable sense of humour. I would recommend this treatment to anyone who has aches and pains. I now have treatments every six weeks as maintenance, and will continue to do so.

I was first told I had Osteoarthritis in 1993. I was 44 years old. I had severe neck and shoulder pain. X-rays showed a Spondylosis.

I was recommended physiotherapy and pain killers. For several years I tried various forms of treatment. My hands and wrists became affected and some of my hobbies such as sewing and knitting became too painful to continue. By 2007, I was on daily doses of Aulin a strong painkiller. I had an accidental fall and although my injuries were not serious, my friend recommended I have Amatsu. I started seeing my Amatsu Practitioner weekly at first but the visits dropped to fortnightly, then monthly and eventually even less frequently. I experienced less pain, stopped taking the painkillers and now see her about once a month. I take no painkillers at all. I attribute this improvement to Amatsu.

I have been troubled by my lower back for at least 25 years. As a farmer my work demands that I can lift both static and moving objects.

Although I was aware that my sister went to see somebody for treatment that helped her knees, I didn't realise that the Amatsu Practitioner could possibly help my back. I had just been told by the Hospital that they wanted to put me on a rack and stretch me out a bit to decompress two discs. This was causing me some alarm and I was sceptical of the potential results. I was equally sceptical on my first visit to the Amatsu Practitioner, however my sister convinced me it was worth a try. I have been extremely pleased by the results. I had to wear a weight lifting belt to help me cope when lifting sheep and dealing with the hay. Now I don't need it at all and even if my back does ache a little at the end of the day, it is ache free and ready to do it all again the next day. An added bonus and in fact an absolute joy was that this year, after 20 years plus of having to wear a back brace when skiing, I was able to ski all day every day, giving my two sons a run for their money. Amatsu is incredible - I don't know how it works, but I am very glad it does.

I had an old injury to my left shoulder, which gave me constant migraines, I had three sessions of Amatsu with my practitioner and I have been pain free since, and the range of mobility in my shoulder has increased significantly. I had previously been to see physiotherapists, chiropractors and doctors, but nothing worked.

I highly recommend Amatsu as a therapy, and my therapist is a wonderful practitioner, she is very supportive and caring.
