About

I first heard of Amatsu in 1997, after I had been training with Paul Hand for a couple of years and eventually qualified in Anma in 1999, Seitai 2000/1. I started it because of a desire to understand more about the movement of Hatsumi and my teachers from a budo perspective.

I set a clinic up in 2003, becoming full time in 2004.

I qualified in shinden in 2005 and kenku 2007/8.

I have been training in the bujinkan for over 20 years now, I'm a 9th dan black belt - called a shidoshi and my dojo name is Bujinkan Seikansuru Dojo where I have been teaching for about ten years.

My clinic is based in a large gym called xercise4less and ive been based there for over three years and its address is

I have facebook pages called catalyst therapies and bujinkan seikansuru dojo.

I named the page catalyst therapies so i can put my NLP practitioner, life coaching, amatsu and now sports massage (qualified as level 3) business under one banner.

I suppose the best thing about amatsu for me is the way it can help people to getting back to good lifestyles again instead of just managing symptoms. It brings a good sense of satisfaction to see people moving forwards and able to take control of their problems and get better.
